Berlyn Casey
Jones
This is the second model imported by Berlin in
1-20.3 scale. It depicts the Silverton Railroad's ambulance that Otto Mears used. The model is
all brass, has lifting hood with motor detail, driver, and, of course, is chain driven. The
brake detail under this motor is worth a study of its own. The prototype is stored in Silverton,
Colorado, and has been running recently. I have one with a broken hood latch for
200.00.
